Deadly Obsession

Before you go, let me introduce you to Nic “the lover” Lamoureux’s book. Deadly Obsession is the first book in my Deadly Vices series. Here’s the blurb:

When an Oscar-winning movie star meets a department-store photographer…

Movie star Nic Lamoureux appears to have a playboy’s perfect life. But it’s a part he plays, an act designed to conceal a dark secret he carries on his shoulders. His empty days and nights are a meaningless blur until he meets the woman who fulfills all his dreams. She and her son are the family he’s always wanted—if she can forgive a horrible mistake from his past.

A Hollywood dream…

Lauren James, a widowed single mother, earns barely enough money to support herself and her son. When she wins a photography contest and meets Nic, the man who stars in all her fantasies, her dreams, both professional and personal, are on the verge of becoming real. The attraction between Lauren and Nic is instant—and mutual. Their chemistry burns out of control during a photo shoot that could put Lauren on the fast track to a lucrative career.

Becomes a Hollywood nightmare

But an ill-advised kiss makes front-page news, and the lurid headlines threaten everything Nic and Lauren have hoped for. Before they know what’s happening, their relationship is further rocked by an obsessed and cunning stalker who’ll stop at nothing—not even murder—to have Nic to herself. When Nic falls for Lauren, the stalker zeroes in on her as the competition.

And the competition must be eliminated.

Deadly Obsession is available from the following retailers:
Print: Amazon US
(Other Amazon and Apple locations also carry the ebook).

That sounds pretty much like my St. Paddy's Day tradition. Although, I used to live in a city that had a big parade. We'd watch it and freeze, then go to the pub and have a few beers. 🙂

Thank you, Linda! I'll try to get a few "Quebecois" items in addition to some Canadian movie theatre tickets. Also, my next book features a modern Iroquois hero, so I'll bring back some Iroquois artisan objects. Should make for some fun giveaways!

    • Kristine Cayne

Sarah, the movie tickets are my idea. The grand prizes were decided by Carrie Ann Ryan who organized the blog hop and the authors chipped in to cover the costs. It's a great way to bring people together and have a little St. Paddy's Day fun 😀

Thank you for bringing up this question. I've confirmed with the organizer. The prizes are open to international entries. However, the ereader will be the american version and the gift cards will be in US currency. I hope that clears things up. I appreciate you stopping by and entering the giveaway!

Corned beef and cabbage – I've heard it so many times today, I think I'm going to have to eat some. I'm starting to have a craving for it! Happy St. Patrick's Day and good luck with the giveaway!

I will wear green & my shamrock pin. Tonight, I made corned beef reubens for dinner. I might have a beer…but it won't be green. It will be amber.

My son at the age of 15, talked his friends into going "ghost hunting" There is a road in our town, that if you park your car and put it in neutral it will back up the hill. The area is said to be very active. Well, my father drove them over…they were talking all big, and how they were going to walk thru the woods etc on the way over. Once my father parked the car and shut off the lights, they all quickly said they werent in the mood to walk around…my son all 6ft 3 of him, crouched down behind the seat..until they left. They are all graduating High School this year..I will be sure to share the story at their party.

    Happy St Pattys Day !
